General Office of Information Technologies
Objective
To manage the adequate Information Technologies use though policies, systems, telecommunication projects and infrastructure administration, in order to increase their application in those areas that form SENASICA.
Develop and establish the SENASICA institutional policy for the use of the computer system resources in the development of its activities.
Coordinate the projects regarding informatics and telecommunications to support the achievement of the objectives and goals of the different SENASICA areas.
Evaluate the working and activities programs regarding informatics from the SENASICA General Offices to redirect its activities on this matter.
Systematize/standardize the subjective and adjectives processes to improve the offered SENASICA services.
Develop diagnosis and evaluate project feasibility regarding computer sciences that help the Agency computer system development.
Coordinate the implementation of new computer technologies in order to improve the systems development.
Pass judgment to projects, activities and acquisition of goods or services regarding informatics and telecommunications by the SENASICA Head Offices.
Issue informatics standards aimed to unify goods and services acquisition criteria.
Coordinate data base creation and administration for making decisions.
Coordinate the mechanisms instrumentation that allows and electronic information exchange with other agencies and SENASICA customers. In addition, within the attributions scope, other designed by the Administration and Computer System General Director.
