Officials of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) of the Popular Republic of China, the Federal Commission for the Protection against Sanitary Risks (COFEPRIS,) and the National Service of Agro Alimentary Health, Safety, and Quality (SENASICA,) will hold the Fourth Meeting of the Mexico-China Permanent Binational Commission.


This first inspection and quarantine working group will meet this Wednesday, July 28, and will address exchange of information on structure and inspection in both countries, as well as the advances on the documents analysis submitted by Mexico on beef, pork, and poultry meat, and on equine skins.


Situation of the Mexican mango and Persian Lime; the National Toxic Residues Plan on tilapia; fishery products certification (meals and oils) will also be discussed.


The session’s results will be presented the next day at the Commercial and Economy Affairs Sub-Commission with the agriculture working group that will be held in the facilities of the Secretariat of Foreign Affairs.
